My Feet Hurt and It’s Great

Hello Arden-Arcade! You may have received our postcard in the mail announcing that we are open, and you came to visit or call us welcoming us to the neighborhood. Thank you to all the people who popped in to say hi- Wanda, John, Dominic, and Steve are just a fraction of the neighbors we met after they received our postcard. Old-fashioned mail does work! 😊

I am breaking in some new shoes and am not used to being on my feet this much, so my feet hurt right now; but I don’t care because we are having such a good time. 100% of the people coming in have said they are excited to have us here and that they will be back. This confirms that following my gut feelings for this business was right on. All the people we are meeting is exactly how I pictured this business.

When Ernie and his cousin, Greg, came in for the second time, I was able to ask Greg how he was feeling since he wasn’t feeling well last time (he was feeling better).

When Tyus, our FedEx express driver came in on Monday, we asked about his fiancée’s wedding dress shopping the previous weekend. (It was pushed to this coming weekend).

When my neighbor across the street showed up looking for a gift for a friend, I was excited to help Susie pick out some cute, summer plates.

I know there are many more of you we haven’t met, so I hope you show up soon!
