Knowledgeable Young-Adult Employees

There are four employees under the age of 25 here at Arden Dispatch. Chloe and Taryn were our main trainers when we first opened since they worked in a store just like this one up in Washington State. While I feel like I know as much as they do, now six months into being open, and I make the final decisions on situations that arise, I still ask them to clarify things when I am second-guessing myself.

While working, all four are professional and give knowledgeable shipping guidance to our customers. I trust all four of them to work at the store without me, and they know what they are talking about when answering questions about shipping, fingerprinting, or any other service we have.

It is frustrating when I see them working with a customer, and when I walk in, the customer immediately starts talking to me instead. Sometimes, a customer will use a stern voice with them, and when working with me, the same customer will be sweet and kind.

Some adults take advantage of their age and sweet dispositions and use condescending tones of voices. There is really no need for that in any situation, and these young adults know as much as I do, and in many cases have more experience!
