Drop-off Return Choices

The QR code is a ubiquitous tool for everything from looking at a menu to seeing a real estate listing. I use them many times a week for all kinds of reasons, so I understand why the shipping companies are using them to help expedite returns for customers: they are easy and convenient.

Unfortunately, FedEx and UPS have not given third-party stores, like ours, the equipment to scan these QR codes, and we have to tell people to take it to the FedEx store in Arden Fair or The UPS Store. We hate having to do that. 😒 BUT HAVE NO FEAR! There is a solution if you would like to drop off at Arden Dispatch (and who wouldn’t?) 😊

When a company like Wayfair or Nordstrom (these are ones we see a lot) sends you an email about the return process, they give you the option to choose to print a shipping label or use a QR code. Choose the “print a shipping label" option, print your label, and we can scan the bar code into the system. Don’t have a printer? We can print it for you here in the store. You can email the label to store@ardendispatch.com and that will give us access in order to print it.

CAVEAT: We CAN take USPS QR codes. So weird, but we found a workaround with them.

Hopefully we will eventually be able to take a QR code for FedEx and UPS, until then, please print the label.

See you soon!!
